I figured it is time I keep a gamelog, or I would start forgetting which games I’d played and how they fared.

And, unlike those big, wonderful gameblogs out there, this shall remain small, hidden, and mediocre. And irregular. Now Tsubasa Chronicle may not be the best game to start off a log with, but at least it keeps well to the mediocre theme.

Battle system is quite a new experience (to me). Not the most interesting one ever – not when it is rock, scissors, paper – but quirky enough to keep you playing.

You also get to play another round of, I presume, the entire game (I say presume, because I stopped playing a while into the second round) with the same plot after finishing it the first time around. You get to earn new and different (and even the same) character cards though, so it is not completely boring.

One thing that irks me is that they simply designed one side of a character… to be used for both directions. That is, when Fai is facing left, the character would look absolutely fine. When he faces right, however, you would find that it is an outright mirror image of the original design. His hair would divide in the other direction, and his costume would button up the wrong side. Very off-putting.

Music follows the anime soundtrack; nice but a tad too midi-ish.
The four main characters + Mokona are voiced, but only during battles.
NamikawaFai: Yooooii~~ Ya~~tta~!
Fai u r so gay :D

The Kurogane card has the most points-per-level stats, I think. Which would make it the strongest card around. Not unexpected. So does that mean if you play through the game 16 times, you can collect a whole deck of Kurogane cards and get to CONKAR THE WORLD?
